CODE OF CIVILITY

Each person, as a member of The University of West Alabama community, should have respect for others and respect their views and ideas. Each person should conduct himself or herself in such a manner as to maintain a learning environment at the University. In an effort to maintain the educational environment of the University, students are asked to respect the rights of others to carry on a conversation. Loud or abusive language is not conducive to a positive environment and will not be tolerated. Individuals who violate the University’s Code of Civility will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the regular disciplinary procedures of the University.
