All posters posted in and around the residence halls and campus apartments
must be approved by the hall director of the specific residence hall.

All posters must be 17 x 23 inches or smaller.
Approval for larger posters may be requested from the Director of Student
Activities.

Posters are not permitted on doors, walls and on glass.

Posters are prohibited on the outside of buildings and on trees.

No more than two posters for the same event
are permitted on the same
floor of any academic building; only one poster is permitted in each stairwell
per floor of an academic building.

Posters must be removed by 10:00 a.m. the morning
following the advertised event; in case of a weekend function, 10:00 a.m.
Monday is the deadline.

Posters must be sponsored by a recognized UWA student organization or
University department, except for student elections (see #12 below).

Poster privileges are granted to outside groups & organizations by request
only through the Director of Student Life and Housing.

Since the University discourages the consumption of alcohol by minors, UWA
does not permit posters that promote events taking place at bars and
similar establishments, nor may posters include any reference to alcoholic
beverages.

All posters should comply with accepted standards of good taste.

Failure to comply with
the above rules may result in
suspension of poster privileges for the offending organization.
Unauthorized posters may be thrown away by University
personnel.

Student Elections:
Special poster regulations governing student election campaigns may be
adopted by the Student Government Association.
