COUNSELING OFFICE

The Counseling Office, located in Foust Hall #7, houses a licensed professional counselor who provides free counseling services to students, faculty, and staff with personal concerns. Available services include individual counseling, academic support, marital and pre-marital counseling, crisis management, group counseling, and family counseling. Students are encouraged to seek help for personal concerns including but not limited to academic problems, addictions, anger management, depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, grief and loss issues, sexual abuse recovery, and treatment for clinical disorders.

The Counseling Office is also responsible for contributing to the university’s retention efforts and is the location of UWA’s peer tutoring program.
