STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

Student Support Services (SSS), located in Foust Hall #6, is a federally funded program offering academic assistance to students who qualify.

First-generation college students, or students who are eligible based on income, or students with disabilities are urged to inquire about this academic support program. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to meet U.S. Department of Education criteria.

For students who are accepted into the program, a number of valuable services are available—all free to the student. Student Support Services provides reading classes, academic counseling, financial advisement, tutoring, workshops on study skills, test taking, classroom survival techniques, etc., referrals to other campus resources, career guidance, and social and cultural activities.

Interested students are encouraged to come in and talk with any member of the staff during office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
