LIBRARY SERVICES

The Julia Tutwiler Library contains approximately 250,000 volumes of books, bound journals, and microform. The library also provides on-site access to over 25,000 periodicals in print, microform, or electronic formats.  Library databases and Internet access is available from eight public workstations and the computer lab, with 30 workstations.  The workstations in the computer lab also have Microsoft Office, which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  The library has an extensive microfiche collection, and the Alabama Room houses an extensive collection of historical and archival materials. The library is open during the following hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunday: 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
