SCHOLARSHIPS

Trustees and Leadership Academic Scholarships

The Trustees Scholarships are designed to recognize high school and junior college students who have excelled in academic and/or leadership accomplishments. These scholarships are awarded to students in their senior year of high school or in their sophomore year of junior college.

The Trustees Scholarships are usually four-year scholarships for high school students and two-year scholarships for junior college students, and they usually range in value from $4,000 to $12,000. The awards are made in three categories-academic, leadership, and junior college. The GPA for scholarship recipients is checked at the end of each Spring Semester to determine if their scholarships can be renewed for the following year. In the event that the recipient's scholarship is lost due to a low GPA - the scholarship can be reinstated when a student has raised his/her GPA to the required average. These scholarships do require on-campus residency; two years for freshman and one year for transfers.
